Bonny Musgrave
Bonny currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Southern Adventist University.  She teaches in the Vegetarian Culinary Arts program.

Carl Rodriguez
Carl has spent 27+ years as a Conference Youth Director, 7+ years as a pastor and 2 years as a teacher. He has an MBA in administration, M.Div. in Theology, and is a candidate for his Doctorate in Ministry. On his time off he enjoys spending time with his wife Maria, daughter Elizabeth, dog Caspian, and 2 cats Lynx and Tuxy. You can find him involved in this favorite sports like golf or tennis. His favorite teams include the New York Giants and the Yankees. And When he isn’t flying planes you may find him skiing hiking or site seeing. 

Master SGT Darrell Whited
Darrell served our military Special Forces and Foreign Army Trn (Airborne) for 31 years. He is a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disables American Veterans, the 20th Special Forces Society, the American Legion, Team Red White, and Blue, the Ordnance Corp, and the Order of the Combat Spur (Golden Eagle in Combat). He has received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, multiple Army Achievement and Accommodation awards, Combat Action Badge and Army Physical Fitness Award. He has worked in Fleet Management, Explosive Ord Disposal, as a Mental Health Specialist, and Transport Specialist just to name a few. He began his military career in 1982 and retired in May of 2010. As of today, Darrell has created the Vets Working Organization – Red Convoy Team and Sweat Team in Huntsville, AL. He also created Working Warriors Today Inc. which has completed over 4,500 Soldier or Veteran cases, which is nearly 28 a month since 2011 to present day. 

Derek Wright
Derek Wright works as a Vice President, Operations at UltraCamp, a camp management software company founded in 2006. He is part of the Operations team within the Operations Department and their management level is VP-Level. Derek is currently based in Granger, United States and used to work at Camp Wawona and Camp Heritage.

Edwin C. Elsner III
Ed has worked in the food service industry for 40 years. During this time he has served as a chief cook and bottle washer, baker, menu planner, recipe tester and developer, Food Service Manager and Directs, and more! His career includes cooking at a restaurant, Southern Missionary College Bakery, Walla Walla College, Big Lake Youth Camp and Sunset Lake (summer camps for several summers). He is married to Shellane and has two grown daughters. Together, he and his wife enjoy traveling, especially to the Philippines, Shellane’s home country. 

Esther Lorenson
Esther is the founder and director of the Equestrian Management Workshops, LLC and Horses Highlighting His Word, has served in the equestrian and camping industry for over 42 years, and is passionate about horses and sharing Jesus.  Esther has served at many Adventist camps during her career, including Camp Au Sable, Sunset Lake, Camp Alamisco, Nosoca Pines Ranch, Camp Heritage, and Camp Sagola.

Gary Patterson
Gary received his degree from Southwestern Adventist University in Dietetics. From there he went to his first academy foodservice job at Enterprise Academy in March 1987. He worked at Enterprise for 10 years. Then in July of 1997 he moved to Sunnydale Academy and served there for 24 years. Gary has cooked at 3 different camps – Camp Yorktown Bay in Arkansas, Broken Arrow Ranch in Kansas, and Camp Heritage in Missouri. He was a Charter member in 1995 and became Director from 2017 until 2021 for the Adventist Food Service Association. 

Career Highlights:

• 1995 – Gary was chosen to serve the food service leadership team for the General Conference Session in Utrecht, Holland and served 150,000 meals in 10 days.
• 2005 – He served as head chef for the General Conference Session in St. Louis and prepared the entrees with the help of a team of 20 directors and staff from across North America. 
• Gary retired in 2020 and is now living with his wife in Centralia, Mo. He now enjoys time with his 8 and 2/3 grandkids and volunteers at the local Community Service Center. “God and food service has been good to our family” – Gary Patterson. 

Jackie Ribbe 
Jackie grew up in Green Bay, WI. She graduated from Wheaton College in 1990 with a BA in Sociology and in 1995 with a MSW from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois-Chicago. She married her husband Rob in 1991, and together they have 4 grown children. Currently, Jackie is the Business Operations Assistant at HoneyRock, and she has worked in nearly every area of camp over the last 30 years. 

Outside of her involvement at HoneyRock, Jackie has a passion for women's ministry, leading Bible studies, flea market finds, and her family.

Jon Bettlinski
Dr. Jonathan P. Betlinski is a psychiatrist in Portland, Oregon and is affiliated with OHSU Hospital. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Kim Taylor
Kim has been a partner in ministry with her husband Greg (who she met at camp in college) for 22 years.  They started out as a teaching team first at Grand Rapids Adventist Academy and then Spencerville Adventist Academy.  From there, they were called into the pastoral ministry at Glendale Adventist Church in Indianapolis where Kim organized the VBS programs and Adventurers.  Following that, they were called into full time youth ministry (including serving at Camp Wakonda and Indian Creek Camp) which they have done for the past 12 years. As of November 1, 2022, Kim and Greg now serve in the Youth Department of the Southern Union Conference. Kim has two wonderful sons who have partnered in the camp ministry since day one.  She loves to sing and share her love for Jesus  whenever she gets the chance.

Kirstin Hasty
Kirstin lives at Glacier View Ranch in Colorado with her husband Sam Hasty. She is a registered nurse but is currently working as the Housekeeping Coordinator at GVR. She grew up living at various camps across the US where she spent many hours helping care for the horses and learning about the equestrian program. Kirstin worked 8 years at summer camps, including Camp Heritage, as a Wrangler/Instructor and Equestrian Director. She loves the Lord and desires to learn from Him while daily abiding in His presence.

Rob Ribbe
I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1987, I graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Physical Education/Exercise Physiology. I am married to Jackie, a 1990 Sociology graduate from Wheaton; we have four kids The most critical contributors to my growth in Christ have been relationships with older and wiser believers, being a husband and dad, and involvement in the Church. Being a husband and dad is one of God's greatest blessings in my life.

Robert Hill Jr.
Robert Hill is the CEO of Cyturus and has spent over 30 years in the IT space promoting significant and measurable reductions in business risk through applied cybersecurity practices, programs, and technologies. Prior to founding Cyturus, Robert worked as an industry leading cybersecurity consultant often featured on Network News broadcasts, seen on stage as a forum panelist, and found in Fortune 500 conference rooms discussing cybersecurity risk in business terms. 

Robert is a member of the FBI InfraGard, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received his degree in Biomedical Clinical Engineering.

Scott Shaw
Scott is an experienced camp professional with a demonstrated history of working in leadership, programming, and fundraising. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Coaching, Fundraising, Team Management, Team Building, and Public Speaking. Strong media and communication professional with a M.A. from John Brown University in Ministry and Certificate in Fund Raising Management focused in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.  Before accepting the role of liaison between the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA) and Mission Increase, Scott served at New Life Ranch in various capacities, including Chief Development Officer.  Inside Info: Scott serves as Chaplain for the Mens' Basketball team at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Seth Coridan
Seth Coridan is currently serving as the Manager/Ranger of Timber Ridge Camp in Indiana. Seth grew up near the camp and as a young man at the age of 14, he began working at Timber Ridge Camp both as summer camp staff and then in the off-season. After graduating from Southern Adventist University and then Seminary, he served as a pastor for 18 years in Wyoming, Colorado, and Missouri. In 2021, Seth, his wife Melissa, and their three children Daniel, Joshua, and Kaitlyn returned to Timber Ridge Camp where they enjoy the beauty of the camp and the many animals that call Timber Ridge home. 

Seth enjoyed building a home for his family in Colorado and remodeling homes in each of the other states where he served in ministry. He has enjoyed mission trips with Sunnydale Academy students holding evangelism series in India and Nepal. He also served many times as a volunteer at Camp Heritage.  He has always had a love for animals and currently enjoys sharing many exotics with the guests who visit the camp nature center, from creepy crawlies like spiders, scorpions, lizards, and snakes, to more cuddly animals like Ferrets and Degus. The family also enjoys their little herd of Mini horses. Seth finds Timber Ridge Camp the perfect place to share his many interests with others in ministry.

Stephani Trescott
Stephani is the Equestrian Director at Camp Kulaqua. She grew up learning about horses and Jesus at summer camp and has been active in Camp Ministry for 14 years, including stints at Camp Kulaqua and Camp Heritage. Stephani enjoys sharing Jesus and nature with others using horses.

Todd Ward
Todd grew up on a farm in Indiana. After a family crisis in the 7th grade, Todd took over the farming operation until he suffered a near fatal farm accident in 1981. Todd worked at Camp Yorktown Bay in Mountain Pine Akansas as staff from 1982-1985.  in 1986, He joined the police department in Keene Tx, and worked in Law enforcement for 8 years. During this time, He spent several years also making Architectural Antique Reproduction case good pieces for national design firms out of Dallas and Ft. Worth.  His Furniture is in clients’ homes around the United States. Following this Todd worked 22 years in the Commercial masonry industry. He has worked every aspect of the industry from laborer to Company owner.  He has managed the masonry construction on hundreds of structures from light commercial to high rise buildings.  He served as the masonry project manager for Cain Corporation at the United Airlines maintenance facility in Indianapolis, which was the largest construction project in America at the time.  Years later, he worked for Cain Corporation again as general superintendent.   Todd has given expert testimony, and consulted to law firms on multiple lawsuits.  He won an award from the National Concrete Masonry Association for his work on Indianapolis Fire Station 14. 

Todd has lay pastored in churches for over 30 years, and spent 11 years in pathfindering as a club director and area coordinator.    He and his wife Shelley have four children, and currently live in Dadeville Alabama, where he and Shelley currently serve as the camp ranger team at Camp Alamisco. They have been there 7 years. 

Tom Graney
Tom currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at New Life Ranch (NLR). NLR operates three camps, New Life Ranch Flint Valley in OK, Frontier Cove in OK, and Boulder Mountain in central AR.  In addition to his duties at New Life Ranch, Tom is serving as President of the South Central Region (Ozark, Texas, and Deep South Sections) of the Christian Camp and Conference Association.

Tracey Gaslin
A professor and dual certified nurse practitioner in pediatrics and adults. She completed her PhD in Educational and Organizational Leadership and taught for 10 years specializing in camp nursing, pediatrics and hematology. Dr. Gaslin periodically works as a camp consultant and legal consultant and publishes the majority of her work in the areas of camp nursing, service leadership, hemophilia, and pediatric development. 

Dr. Gaslin served as the Medical Director at the Center for Courageous Kids for six years where she worked with children with chronic disease, disability, and life-threatening illness. In her current role as the Executive Director for the Association of Camp Nursing, she travels throughout the US and Canada educating healthcare providers about camp health services and the many benefits for children and adults. Dr. Gaslin is passionate about bleeding disorders, camp, and creating standards, guidelines, and evidence based support to serve diverse individuals.

Theresa Stride
This gem of a human has worked at Camp Kulaqua for 17 years from the horse barn, to Programming Assistant, to her current position as the Year-Round Programming Director. She has her Batchelor Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. And enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron and two girls Emmalyn and Lilah. If she isn’t spending time with them you may find her at her sewing machine creating works of art.
